Off-Campus Access to Online Resources How do I access library databases from off-campus? Only registered students can access library databases from off-campus. Click on a database link and you will be asked for your VCCS username and password. Use the same username and password you do when logging in to Blackboard or your VCCS email. Help with usernames and passwords is available here.	Checking Out Books What do I need to check out books? You must have your library card to check out any materials - including Reserves. How do I get a library card? Students: present picture id and complete a card request form at either library. Non-Students: present a drivers license and complete a card request form at either library. How many books can I check out at once? Students: No limit on students, except in special circumstances. Non-Students: Non-students are limited to three items at a time. Can I check out videos? Some videos and DVD's can be checked out for seven days.
