| The Officers of the Phi Rho Chapter speak to business classes at Lord Fairfax Community College and explain to the
students exactly what Phi Beta Lambda is, the activities
we conduct, and how membership can benefit them. This has sparked a great
deal of interest among students in these business classes.

| Professors at Lord Fairfax are encouraged to identify talented students who they think would excel in Phi Beta Lambda's
competitive events program and refer them to the Phi Rho Chapter.

| The Phi Rho Chapter maintains a bulletin board in the College's cafeteria area, where students can learn about the latest activities
of the Chapter. At the beginning of the school year, we use this bulletin board as a recruitment tool to inform students about the benefits of
membership and also to provide them with membership applications.

| Students can now print a membership application directly from the Chapter's website! This is a new feature that we hope will lead to an increase in the number of members as more and more students become familiar with the Internet. |
