Blackboard
All distance education courses developed and delivered with the assistance of the Office of Instructional Technology (OIT) feature an Internet component that typically includes the use of Blackboard for course-specific materials, such as: syllabus, course notes, handouts, assignments, relevant links, discussion board, collaboration/chat feature, shared folders, group folders and other resources.
OIT offers free instructor-led training to LFCC faculty, staff, and students on the use of Blackboard. The schedule of classes is updated periodically.
OIT is in the process of compiling documentation and demonstration movies to help users learn more about Blackboard features. More to come....
