Logging in to Blackboard

New to Blackboard?

If this is your first time using Blackboard, go to the LFCC MY VCCS login page at https://lf.my.vccs.edu/jsp/login.jsp and enter your username and password. Your username and password are the same ones you used for SmartWeb (class registration). Once logged in, you must click on "BLACKBOARD", under "MY TOOLS".

You may also enter VCCS Blackboard by logging in directly at http://learn.vccs.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp.

Once you have entered Blackboard, you will be taken to the LFCC Main Blackboard page. If you need help, or would like to know more about the Blackboard environment, you may wish to begin your journey by clicking on the HELP tab at the upper right of the screen, then, under the SUPPORT module, clicking on Bb Student Manual. There is also a VCCS Blackboard support site at http://bbhelp.vccs.edu/ .

Returning Blackboard User?

Please go to http://learn.vccs.edu and log in with the same user name and password that you used during previous semesters. Again, if you have forgotten your username or password, there are links to help you retrieve them.

Finding Your Courses

Your Blackboard courses will be listed in the "My Blackboard Courses" module. Clicking on the name of the course will take you to the course site. Not all of your courses may be listed in the "My Blackboard Courses" module. It takes up to 24 hours from the time your enrollment is official for the Blackboard database to be updated. Also, not every instructor on campus is using Blackboard with his or her course. Only those courses where instructors choose to use Blackboard will be listed in the "My Blackboard Courses" module.
